Bloody Paella is a street gang that was run by Unid. Like the name suggests, the gang is made up of people who resemble sea creatures. Most of them are hoodlum youths who commit mild crimes such as gambling, drug trafficking or motorcycle runaways. It has a hostile rivalry with Death Bouillon.

Bloody Paella's story is mainly told through artwork and comics made by the game's lead artist Hodev. There is a page on the game's official website which contains all the comics and some pieces of artwork featuring the gang. They date back to July of 2021. The comics are all in Japanese, however the game's community is working on a fan translation.

History

The gang's history dates back more than 10 years. The first two members are implied to be Unid and Fujitsubo, who became friends sometime during teenage years[1]. The two of them also got acquainted with Ei at an unknown time[2]. The other members gradually joined since then.

Ei then started renting his big mansion for Bloody Paella. The mansion became the gang's hideout, with the members gathering there to make sport bets and goof around. The hideout also had a big room specially reserved for Asari, where they allegedly brewed drugs and medicine, including the dangerous Gonbessa.

At some point, the boss of Death Bouillon invaded Bloody Paella's turf, which greatly angered Unid. The gang won during the turf war, but Death Bouillon has got the target on them ever since. This event was ultimately the start of the rivalry between the two organizations.

The gang's fate after Unid's hack is currently unknown.

Formation

There are 8 known members of the gang:

  1. Unid, who is the gang's boss.
  2. Fujitsubo, an acorn barnacle and Unid's childhood friend.
  3. Ei, a ray renting his big mansion for the gang.
  4. Hydra, a laid-back hydra.
  5. Asari, a skilled drug-dealer from another country.
  6. Kamenote, a weak stalked barnacle trying their best to fit in with the gang.
  7. Gyokotsu, a fishbone girl.
  8. Kurage, a not-so-stable jellyfish DJ.

Though it is hard to call it a member of the gang, a sea slug named Tamo-chan also lives in the gang's hideout.

Associates

There are a some characters who, while not being members of Bloody Paella, are associated with it in some way.

Same is a tattoo artist whose parlor is visited by the gang. He also has a kid, Same-chan, who is Kurage's big fan. Speaking of Kurage, he has two other jellyfish friends he lives with.
